Introduction CHE and HEALTH :
These Terms of Use (“Agreement”) govern your access to and use of Unimed Academy’s digital learning platforms, including CHE (Continuous Health Education), HEALTH (Health Education to Advance Literacy and Transformative Health) Masterclass, and all related programs and services under their umbrella (collectively, the “Services”). These platforms and programs are owned and operated by Unimed Academy, LLC (“Unimed,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By purchasing or using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not purchase or access or use the Services.
PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY TO UNDERSTAND HOW WE HANDLE YOUR INFORMATION. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE OR USE THE SERVICES.
2. Access and Use of the Services
- 2.1 Use Description: The Services and associated content are intended solely for personal, non-commercial educational use. Upon purchase, you are granted a limited, non-transferable license for access during your subscription. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publicly display content.
- 2.2 Registration Obligations: You may be required to register with accurate, up-to-date information. Users under 18 are not allowed. Those under 18 must have parental consent.
- 2.3 Member Account, Password, and Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Sharing your login credentials is strictly prohibited. You agree to:

Unimed is not responsible for losses arising from failure to comply with these security obligations.
- 2.4 Modifications to the Services: Unimed reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services, at any time and without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for such changes. We also have no obligation to retain your account or user-submitted content beyond legal or operational requirements.
- 2.5 General Practices Regarding Use and Storage: We may set usage limits, including content retention and inactivity policies, and reserve the right to change these without notice.
- 2.6 Mobile Services: Unimed’s Services may be accessible through mobile devices. Depending on your mobile provider, standard data, and carrier charges may apply. Not all mobile features are available across all carriers or devices.
- 2.7 Refund Policy: Unimed’s refund policy may vary by product. In general:
Refunds are not available for any account found to be in violation of these Terms.
Requests for refunds must be made within 7 days of the initial purchase for monthly subscriptions, unless otherwise required by law.
Requests for refunds must be made within 30 days of the initial purchase for annual subscriptions, unless otherwise required by law.
Abuse of the refund process may result in account suspension or termination without reimbursement.

- 2.8 Third-Party Platform and Data Protection: Unimed delivers its educational Services through a third-party learning management system (LMS) provider. By purchasing access to our Services, you acknowledge and agree that your educational content and account access are provided via this third-party platform.
- Unimed and its third-party vendor are committed to protecting your personal information. All user data is processed and stored in accordance with industry-standard data security protocols, including encryption, access controls, and secure cloud-based infrastructure. Our platform vendor does not sell or share your information for marketing purposes, and Unimed ensures that all vendors operate under strict confidentiality and data protection agreements.

3. License Grant:
Upon purchase, Unimed grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access the Services for the duration of your selected term:
- Monthly License: 30 days from date of purchase
- Annual License: 365 days from date of purchase
This license is granted solely for personal or organizational educational use and is subject to the restrictions and limitations outlined herein.
4. Ownership and Intellectual Property:
All materials, content, and tools on the CHE and HEALTH Masterclass platforms, including but not limited to videos, text, graphics, assessments, and software, are the exclusive property of Unimed, LLC and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sublicense, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
5. Privacy Policy:
- 5.1 To provide access to our Services, we collect only the following information:
- Name
- Email address
- Month and day of birth
- We do not collect sensitive personal data. This information is used to manage your account, provide services, and communicate with you. We do not sell or market your data.
- We share information only with service providers under strict confidentiality or when legally required. Data is protected with industry safeguards.
- 5.2 Retention: Your information is retained only as long as necessary for service delivery and legal compliance.

- 5.4 Children’s Privacy: Unimed’s Services are intended for use by individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or store personal information from individuals under the age of 18 without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 18 without appropriate authorization or consent, we will take immediate steps to delete such data from our records.
- Parents or legal guardians who believe that their child has provided us with personal information without their consent may contact us at support@unimedacademy.com. Upon verification, we will promptly delete the information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and data protection standards.
6. Legal Terms:
- 6.1 Indemnity and Release To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Unimed, LLC, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all losses, damages, expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), claims, actions, or injury (including death) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms of Use, or your violation of any rights of a third party. This indemnity applies regardless of the legal theory asserted and survives termination of this agreement.
- 6.2 Disclaimer of Warranties: Your use of the Services is at your sole risk. The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Except as expressly stated in this agreement, Unimed disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
- Unimed does not warrant that (i) the Services will meet your specific requirements, (ii) the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, (iii) the results obtained from the use of the Services will be accurate or reliable, or (iv) the quality of any products, services, information, or other material obtained through the Services will meet your expectations.
- 6.3 Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unimed shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (i) the use or inability to use the Services; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods or services; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the Services; or (v) any other matter relating to the Services.
- In no event shall Unimed’s total liability to you for all claims exceed the equivalent of six (6) months’ subscription fees, regardless of whether you purchased an annual plan, or fifteen (15) days’ subscription fees if you purchased a monthly plan.
- 6.4 Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by Louisiana law. You consent to jurisdiction in Louisiana courts.
- 6.5 Dispute Resolution: Disputes must first be addressed informally by contacting support@unimedacademy.com. If unresolved in 90 days, arbitration may be pursued under AAA rules.
- 6.6 Class Action Waiver: All claims must be brought individually. Arbitration will not include any class or representative actions.
- 6.7 Termination: We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations. Access ends immediately upon termination.
- 6.8 Entire Agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy form the entire agreement. Invalid provisions will be severed without affecting remaining terms.
- 6.9 Change To This Policy: We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on our platforms, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
7. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing access to our Services, you affirmatively accept and agree to these Terms of Use. Your continued use of the Services after any updates constitutes agreement to the revised terms.
8. Introduction for PACE and Donation:
- We use your information to process donations, provide receipts, and keep you informed about our activities.
- We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

- You may receive text notifications for reminders, announcements, and important deadlines related to your courses and activities at Unimed Academy.
- Opt-Out Option: We respect your preferences, and you have the right to opt out of receiving text messages and calls from Unimed Academy at any time. To opt out, please follow the instructions provided in our communications or contact our support team at Admin@unimedacademy.com.
- Data Usage and Privacy: We take your privacy seriously. Our use of your contact information for text messages and calls is in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information.
- Please note that standard message and data rates may apply for text messages and calls, depending on your mobile carrier’s terms and conditions.
